Bears showing me why Panthers need TE play

I didn't need the Bears to show me this. look around in the entire league...all season, including last season

fixed

Patriots - Gronkowski/Hernandez

Jet - Keller

Bears - Olson

Colts - Losing Clark hurt their offense to the point they almost missed the playoffs, and ended up losing in the first round

Falcons - Gonzalez

Saints - Shockey

Eagles - can't think of his name at the moment lol

Baltimore - Heap

Steelers - Miller

pretty much every playoff team has a big time TE that is a huge part of their offenses.

Cutler had more time to throw in this game alone than any of our QBs had all season (ok, maybe some sarcasm there, but still). Cutler had all day to make throws so it's no wonder why he can go through reads and find his TE.

Every play off team mentioned above allows their QB time to throw, something we didn't do too well this season. Oh and this also helps, all the TEs listed above were 1st round picks (except Gronkowski who was a 2nd and Hernandez a 4th). Hopefully a new coaching staff will make our TEs Jimmy's best friends b/c I think they have some potential.

    • Oh, no TV for tonight's game unless you have the NHL Network, I believe. I could be wrong, hopefully?
    • Early returns are great and exciting but also worth noting that Gettleman had a few drafts that looked incredible early on and wound up mostly sucking (2014 mainly). Also PFF; grain of salt, etc.    I'm completely sold on Tet being a stud, knocked a high pick out of the park like we needed to and always should. Nearly sold on Scourton. Not sold on Princely but he had flashes. Not sold on Etienne as more than a 3rd stringer and special teamer, but that's not terrible for his draft position. Big fan of Ransom and think he'll be a starter.  Cam Jackson : IDK, I see limited upside but we didn't see much of him Evans was a nice find for draft position and he had a great rookie year for a late round rookie TE with plenty of veteran competition. Not sure about his upside though, seems like best case is a long term #2/3 TE, which isn't bad. Jimmy Horn, personally I didn't see a damn thing from him that impressed me all year. And he got a lot of opportunities. Pulling for the kid, but not convinced he's an NFLer.   UDFA: Fitzgerald was an amazing find
    • Hoping someone tells us Bussi was in the starter's crease for the morning skate. Otherwise, place your 1st shot- 1st goal bets! Any closer to a deal that could land a 2C in Trocheck or Brayden Schenn? Or land a winger in Alex Tuch or reach for Jordan Kyrou?
