Tight end is this unique position where it’s not generally considered a premium position but it’s also not really something you can just go out and buy great play at. Great tight ends virtually never go anywhere. If you want a good one you have to draft him, and more and more lately, you have to take him in the 1st. I don’t need a guy to be ready from his first time stepping on the field as a rookie, that’s an unrealistic expectation-I’d like to have a place for him to step in and play though. Sadiq would have a defined role from the first practice and would open up the offense as a whole simply by being here. but in any case I get the impression that the team doesn’t feel he’s going to be there which jives with kind of how I’m feeling. -
I'm one of those who are falling for Rodriguez. If he's there at 51 I hope the hell we snatch him up. -
If you want Rodriguez you gonna have to take him in the first round and i honestly wouldn't be entirely against it. Especially in a trade down scenario.
