Last time I checked the NFL and its collective teams were privately owned entities, not a democracy...

All I want is football next year. I couldn't give two poos about who gets what. As of right now Richardson, by all accounts, is slowing down the negotiations. I'm pissed about that.

That's fine, but I remember those days well. Actually it was the Cowboys and 49ers who were both outspending the rest of the league, and they pretty much took turns winning NFC championships and Super Bowls with many of the same FA players for a few years. Personally, I would rather see an NFL where everybody has a shot at winning even if their owners are not the richest in the league. I don't want the NFL to be like MLB, where the Yankees can outbid any other team for the best players.
