Those 102 people are not Mel Kiper lol. Mel is usually right on the money with his picks(minus jimmy) and is usually a good indicator of draft stock. Say what you want about him but he does have connections around the league with sources you me or those other 102 people could dream about. Your point is mute.

And the truth is, it could easily change again if Blaine Gabbert has a great workout or something happens with Newton. Not that it matters either way to me though. I still don't want either of 'em (or any other QB in this draft).

I am, however, now leaning more toward the notion that someone's going to go nutso for Newton and offer us a trade for the #1 pick. I had already started wondering about that a short time ago and the more time passes the more I think it'll happen.

Could be the Bills. Might be the Bengals since it gives them an out with Carson Palmer.

See thats the thing. It had already changed because he said so himself. It just wasn't updated on his big board yet which you were refering to. Just because I didnt have the clip you peged me as some nutso making up false info. But that is all predicated on the fact that the Panthers FO see Newton as Kiper does.

I have no idea which way the Panthers will go in this draft. But, I see several as options:

Draft Newton

Draft Fairley or Dareus

Draft Bowers....God I hope not

Trade the pick

That would be your opinion. But new coaches usually want "there guy" when building a new team. Going off last years draft and whats been said Not to many(including our head coach) were to high on jimmy jam. I think QB is Def in play.
