Certainly the blame isn't on Clausen 100%, but he was atrocious and got progressively worse it seemed with each outing. The team as a whole sucked on offense, but if we had a good QB in we wouldn't have looked half as bad as we did IMO. Hopefully Jimmy improves leaps and bounds for his sophomore campaign, if that's the direction the team decides to go in.

Exactly. Its inconcievable to me how a nfl head coach could not forsee this. His whole plan was Delhomme and that was it. If he went down or retired or was cut, we were screwed. And thats what happened. Im still upset we didn't draft Flacco. He was so attainable.
