No argument there. If it isn't his presnap read, then he ain't likely even trying it. But when decides to throw deep based on coverage, he's shown he can throw with accuracy.

How many of these examples can you find? Because most of his deep balls are honestly inaccurate.

If we are looking in the later rounds, Haynes King is the guy. Big arm, great mobility, and let's be honest he has the clutch gene. I think he is totally underrated.

I love King.  I just don't see him as a NFL QB.   Well, I don't see him as a starter.  But I personally wouldn't mind a Taysom Hill backing up my franchise QB.

He's hit Coker, Legette, TMac and Thielen with beautiful passes downfield. He can. He just doesn't. Which again, is even worse than not being able to. Too many short passes leaves opportunities for something to go wrong. And it often does.

Yeah, he's hit a few. He's missed a lot more.

So true. He makes you prepare for something totally different at the position. I'd love him for that alone. DCs hate prep when there's a threat of that dude taking the field.

He was pretty good the backend of last season. The first year and a half was really bad though. Really bad. No arc. Just linedrives 40 yards down field, leaving no room for error. It's perfect or an incompletion.

Good.

Honestly...

If BY requests a trade or a big extension after what he's shown so far, then so be it. This hasn't been a great situation for him but he doesn't have a resume that'll hold any leverage. Ideally he'd take what he can get and then try to prove himself. A lot of QBs have had success betting on themselves in contract years.

The team doesn't have to play him or trade him. The little bitch can sit his ass on the bench until we get an over we can't refuse. He doesn't control this situation.

I get that. Can’t argue with that sentiment

But if he wanted out I think I would just send him on his way. Having him on the team has done enough damage.
Same as with AT, it has to work for us.

Oh they will trade him but not for peanuts. The fifth year option is worth more the Young to another team so we have to get something other than a 7th round pick.

Maybe. They might end up just cutting him. Too early to tell. Maybe he gets sat and then comes off the bench a little better after the rest of the team improves without him around again. Maybe they play him the entire time and no one wants him for more than a prove it cost ehich would be under his rookie contract amount. Too early to gage his value other than low range.

They will not outright cut him until his contract is up or without another drafted qb on the roster. Those are the only options short of a trade.

They only way he is on the team next season is of Tepper still wants him here then. It's just a matter of how. I think Dalton has a better chance to stick around than Young.
