I'm the same and I just gave up on it years ago. 

I expect the new sale to make it a worse fall into making bigger revenue streams and that's not going to be offline franchise.

Yeah, like I said I get it. From a revenue perspective I'm not a good customer for them. They've probably intentionally tanked offline franchise mode to try to get people online. Again, not a terrible strategy from a pure business perspective. I can't really be mad at them for doing what's good for business but yeah, from my perspective it still sucks.

Madden 16 Cam and Luke were cheat codes. Cam was a better runner than Stew and regularly broke tackles. I pissed off a countless number of opponents

2003...got a playstation 2 and madden 04. Had a sweet season going. Wife at the time got mad at me. Took a hammer and smashed it to pieces. I threw away her candles. She felt so bad she bought me an xbox for crimas. I did not replace the candles...

Madden has churned out so much poo over the years I can no longer find it worth playing. 26 any better?

 

I think I stopped in 2020 when the banners still said Madden 2019 in game or whatever that Bs was. I know a lot of players just do roster updates now for older titles

Cool for Cam. In terms of the game I haven't played Madden in years. Once upon a time I really enjoyed MUT. But the monetization of the whole thing is ridiculous. Guys just spend hundreds and hundreds and in some cases more just to build a team instead of grinding and building it themselves.

Never was a video game person. 

Long time ago, one of the few times I played Madden, I did Live at my buddy’s house waiting for him to get ready for us to go party.

A 9 year old kid mercilessly beat me by like 70, and told me about it the entire time. I was kinda proud of the kid for what a prick he was.
