The Panthers’ Offensive Spending Is Misleading — and Bryce Young Is Paying the Price

What if Bryce isn’t enough talent to work with?

He was with Theilen and Coker.

WIth the Vikings and Kirk Cousins as QB:

Theilen averaged around 10.6 yards/rec and had a 67.8% catch rate

WIth the Panthers and Bryce Young as QB:

Theilen averaged around 10.2 yards/rec and had a 76% catch rate

This revisionist history that Bryce Young needs all pro talent at every position around him to flash franchise QB worthy play is wild beyond words considering what he was advertised as before the draft. And he himself happily participated in maintaining that hype by deciding not to throw at the combine because he knew how it would look.

He is 34 games into his NFL career. You guys cannot continue to throw every single player and coach under the bus and expect to be met with productive discussion in response.

Once again just yapping

List all of the WR’s and TE’s Young has had while in Carolina and tell me where they are now

Every move we’ve made is wrong except drafting Bryce.

Mingo? Johnson? Chark? Shenault? Marshall Jr?

Which of those receivers was a good pick and turned into a good receiver?

I never said he needed all pro talent around him. I just pointed out he has never had any real talent besides Theilen and he wasn't anywhere near an all pro

They arent part of the spending you started the thread about. How are they relevant to your topic?

Did you not read anything? The Panthers haven't spent any real money on receivers and their draft picks have not been good. That should pretty much sum it up for you.

Too bad he cant maximize the offensive investments and wins when running games go wild or the defense goes off.

And how often has that happened in the last 3 years. Besides, the offensive line has nothing to do with the arguments in the OP
