yea Bland was playing like 8 yards off and backed up as soon as they snapped. Not pressing or atleast playing 5 yards off didnt make no sense but Ill take it.

That play and the game winner at the end last week (PI)….both were to little old Hunter Renfrow.  He ain’t much but you the Panthers must view his hands as the most clutch in big moments.

Previous seasons I would have fully expected to see us do a pooch punt, leave it on the defense and watch the Cowboys get easily within range for their long leg kicker.

Hunter Renfrow is Ricky Proehl. Not lighting up the stats sheet but always around at the right time.

Hell, possibly even earlier this year. He got roasted, both by the public and probably internally as well, for some pretty cowardly playcalling and perhaps took some lessons from that.

I wouldn't call that belief as much as we had to go for it and are probably not getting it on a run play...

They definitely like him in pressure moments when it’s just about moving the chain.   Back to back weeks of that showing.   Time for that job to go elsewhere.  I assume you have to make Renfrow a healthy scratch next week.

It's honestly the kind of defense I would expect us to run... Have all of the defensive backs play 10 yd off on a 4th and shortish... I thought for sure Eric Washington was calling their plays on that one...

He won't be a healthy scratch, but he will not be starting whenever Coker comes back. 

I think they have faith in him more than anybody else returning punts. It will probably be Tet, XL, and Coker with Renfrow and Horn as backups

Tremayne? I guess then?  Horn does presently seem to be super schemed up right now so maybe Renfrow can survive a little longer?
