Call me crazy but if you’re in the bottom 7 in efficiency using Zone 84% of the time why not try something else? You paid Jaycee top 5 CB money use him more effectively. Zone is only efficient if you can generate a good pass rush to force a QB into mistakes otherwise you will get picked apart

If man coverage gets beat, it gets beaten bad. Shitty zone is manageable if you keep it in front of you.

To be fair, while not having Jaycee follow their best receiver seems foolish he does essentially eliminate 1/3 of the field which does make things easier for the defense as well.

To this point, we have the worst pass rush in the league. Nothing in football happens in a vacuum.  Corners have been fine. Not great mind you, but fine.

Pretty much. No pressure on the qb and anyone can stand back there and find open spots in the zone to throw to

Hence why teams invest so heavily in pass rushing assets. 

We need to continue to do the same until that problem is solved.
