I don't think it matters who "starts" but this stupid "one drive for you, one drive for you" is moronic.  Split carries, put them on the field at the same time, etc.  This is not the way to handle it.

You say that now, but watch out when the Panthers start doing this with the QBs too!!1!11!!

That 1 series Dowdle/1 series Chubba isn't going to work... if we're going to split carries then let Chubba open up the game and after halftime give it to Rico. Let Chubba tire'em out and let Dowdle finish'em. Or Vice Versa.

Or give'em both 2 series a peice and whoever is the most effective, let em work for the remainder. Idunno, but the offense did look smoother after Rico came in.

Dude had 400 plus in two games and still didn't start. Stupid is as stupid does. If he was the only rb on the roster he'd be the #1 rusher in the entire league, and it wouldn't even be close. That said, I still think Chubba has a role but I wouldn't bench the hot hand for it.

Dave should be smart enough to get all he can out of Rico as he is auditing and on a hot streak. You don't mess with a hot streak. Ask any successful gambler.

He sort of already has.
Chuba is a Captain which probably explains it a little.
Canales benched Bryce let’s not forget.
If he sees enough he will change it I think.

On the bright side their run D is poor enough, apparently, that it may work okay this week doing the same thing

That’ great. Smitty was known to have one too.
My man Derrick Brown looking like that without the ball in his other hand.

    • They do. if Andy isn’t totally washed and if the OL can pass block.  We have the running game, and with Andy we have the play action and ability to stretch the field. I have been missing that so much. These are kind of big ifs.
    • Honestly think Panthers have a real chance in this game. Remember, Dalton is good for a game or two. Anything more than that and we're in trouble. If Carolina's run defense continues to dominate, I don't think Josh will light us up. Honestly think they'll hold Cook under 75 rushing and Keon under 50 receiving. Do that and we're good. Now Kincaid will likely have a good game. But choose your battles.
    • A win postpones the slide back to below .500, if I were to place a bet on the near future.    I am sorry but what I would love to see in coming weeks is a flash in the pan QB come from somewhere. Entertainment value will be high if there is some Bryce competition. Doesn’t look likely, just sayin.
