Panthers backup P.J. Walker shows he's good enough to beat the Lions - ESPN - Carolina Panthers Blog- ESPN

PJ Walker not being in the NFL right now is crazy. He has a winning record as a starter, although his stats are kinda trash. Can't imagine there's 32 guys out there as backups who are better in spot duty than PJ.

PJ Walker is another in a long line of Panther backups that hold this ridiculously high place in Huddle lore for literally no reason. Walker was an XFL/CFL caliber player.

They have been over the past few years, we just don't get them or royally fug it up(Mayfield).

The common denominator is that we suck at it. A lot.

We havent really tried to bring in a big free agent qb since Canales has been here.

Well, I think that's basically a Bryce thing. Dalton is not gonna be a significant media threat to him and is also a very capable backup. So does bringing in a Daniel Jones make a lot of sense if you are just gonna hear the chants for him every time Bryce struggles?

IMO, it has been they are sold on Bryce and don't want a threat to his development. Dalton isn't a threat.
