Yeah for sure. We can't look past anyone because we are entirely reliant on Rico.  Hopefully we can find something else to get going because we will need it.

But the fact that we beat the bad teams we've played has me confident.

Im not sure it's time to be confident in anything. But I sure am going to enjoy it while it lasts. I just hope Rico can hold up to the beating he's taking until the season is over. He was pretty dinged up in this game and had to come out several times.

I wonder if my Pack got cocky after the Pittsburgh win. Still no excuses as we lost to the better team today.

The Packers lost because they couldn't stop the run and Love forgot there was a game today. It wasn't because the Panthers were a better team.

NFL and indeed sports in general can just seem so crazy and inconsistent at times.

We destroyed Atlanta.  We got buried by Buffalo and New England.  Atlanta beat Buffalo and nearly beat New England.  Atlanta lost to Miami and we beat up on them after a bad first quarter.

Green Bay beat the two best teams it has played, yet tied Dallas and lost to Cleveland.

Guess all the craziness is part of the reason we love it.

Detroit lost to Minnesota at home today too. Colts got buried by Pittsburgh. What is going on this year in the league?

I read your board this week and none of you thought you would win. That alone made me uneasy.

I thought we might be close for a while. You guys were coming off a big win in Pitt, and we were blown out by Buffalo, so we had some motivation while you guys were due for a letdown.  But I didn't think we would win.

When we were down 7-6 at half I had a bad feeling.

Why was Daniels even out there in the first place when the game is already effectively over? Surely, that question will be coming up.

I don’t know what happened to Washington. They went to the NFC championship game last year and are dreadful this year.

    • The aversion to tying up too much money in the ground game around when it’s what’s winning us games is crazy to me. I get letting Rico walk if you think he’s easily replaceable but I don’t see many people arguing that, just applying an arbitrary salary cap based on what we think RBs are currently worth. I’d rather be stuck with Hubbard as an overpaid backup (not the worst one to have, mind you) than lose out on the most productive player on the offense personally.
    • Why do people keep saying things like “it’s not Young’s fault we spent so much to draft him”? Who cares if it’s his fault?  Nobody is saying send him to jail or anything.  People aren’t talking about blame for the decision to draft him, they’re talking about how bad he is as a QB and how we’d be much better with even an average QB.  Pointing out that we sunk a lot of resources into drafting him isn’t invalidated because he didn’t make that decision himself. Doesn’t matter whose fault that was, he’s still not playing like a QB who was drafted at all, much less one that cost two firsts, two seconds and a #1 WR.
