Bottom line is this. The day before the season began if you told all panthers fans we would be 5-4 on November 3rd, 90% of us would be happy with that. Back then we all knew all the holes and question marks we had and everyone believed there was no way the minor offseason upgrades to the defense would turn it from 32nd to borderline top 10.
Bryce is who he is and the overall season and career stats shows he is a below average starter.  But that final drive was impressive and he has a talent for rising to the occasion when the pressure is at the highest. He seems to have a lot of the intangibles as a leader both on the field a in the locker room. Plus nine game winning drives in his first 38 starts can’t be ignored.

You guys got a good team there. You beat Dallas as well and shut out Atlanta.

Thanks. You are a good sport and that is increasingly rare.

They were great games for us. Dallas especially. And the team is getting better for sure. We think we may have had a great draft.

You guys have been humble in victory too. Other fans could learn from you guys.

Something I have noticed over the years is fans of poo teams are pretty humble. The Saints fans used to be great, then they started winning.

We're just so used to losing it's easy to be graceful in victory. Let us have back to back winning seasons for the first time in franchise history and then let's see how humble we are lol.

And let's face it, even most of our fanbase isn't fully bought in that this team has actually turned the corner. We're basically playing with house money at the moment.

I remember coming to this board after you guys beat us in Lambeau in 2008. You guys couldn’t have been any nicer and we lost a heartbreaker that day too in the last minute.

Road losses don’t bother me as much but losing at Lambeau really stings. I’d rather lose to you guys a team I like than Dallas, SF, Minnesota, Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia or KC.

You are right about that 5-4 thing.
GWD are pretty loosely defined. Yesterday was one, legit to my mind. Last possession, short on time.

Some pretty dubious poo qualifies though, that I think expands the definition too much. We had a thread around here maybe a 3 weeks or a month ago.

Out of pie or I would like your post  Good luck for your season, I don’t think we are gonna get a rematch this year

Something to consider with the #Panthers’ 4-1 stretch is the adjustments made by the staff to put guys in position to succeed following the first quarterly meeting:
- Wallace and Rozeboom switching roles
- Nijman getting to play RT (he’s considerably better there and was huge in two wins vs. DAL/GB)
- Moehrig being used more creatively
- Scott, Smith-Wade and Ransom being used in a complementary rotation
- Jimmy Horn getting an effective package of plays
- Ultimately, the Chuba/Rico swap

Would also add tight ends opening up the scheme from run blocking perspective. The four guys have done a nice job of finishing.

Plus, Nic Scourton’s emergence as a starter.
