I have zero faith in this staff to develop a QB via the draft. The team would be far better served with signing a mid tier FA QB who fits the typical mold of what a QB is supposed to be.

I am in favor of finding the backup with some experience but not an ancient guy, that looks the best. Make a deal. 
Bring in a FA also. Toss a draft pick out there if the opportunity arises.

For sure. The fact that we are 6-6 is evidence that we are better at finding ways to win. Still a very frustrating team though

this is true but like Bryce, a little mediocrity seems like a huge win. 
We could have and probably, no definitely, would have lost a couple of those ugly game in recent seasons. 
 

Apart from the specifics of the offense and the QB dysfunction, the team won those games. That is progress.

They beat the rams and Seahawks but they’re also third in their division. They know what they are.

lots of panthers fans here and elsewhere have unrealistic expectations or the current team or aren’t putting the record into proper context.

That's fair. The goal posts definitely moved after some of our wins this year.
