All that same bad ball placement seems ro be working a lot better to TMac.

The truth is, XL has zero desire to be in the NFL.

T-MAC has a great catch radius and was known to make circus catches. Of course he's going to catch some badly placed balls, but even his his potential is suffering due to bad ball placement as is evidenced by his outward frustration with said terribly placed balls.

As for zero desire to be in the NFL...you're going too far. That is your "truth," not X's. For you to say such a thing is ludicrous.

We saw this from the Saints--the secret to beating us was to stop Rico and make Bryce beat you.  If that is a successful strategy, you don't pay the QB $200m.  Our WRs need some improvement.  Not sure what happened to Renfrow, and I can see XL doing better in another system--I think his confidence is shot here, but in fairness to us, few Huddlers wanted him in the draft.  Coker needs to stay healthy, and Horn might be decent as a situational slot WR with more potential, but TMac needs a #2, not #2 wearing 17.  (see what i did there?)

I don't need to think it, XL made it a reality. This is the same BS that people said about TMJ amd Mingo. "Oh if they just had a better QB!"

Well, our rookie WR doesn't seem to be struggling like that, now does he?

Think maybe that is because one is an NFL WR and the other is a PS caliber player?

#8 overall vs would have been 33rd ovr, but moved up one spot to #32.

Was a known raw prospect vs the consensus #1 true WR...and you're surprised there's separate sets of expectations.

Same reason BY has so little rope, the cost to get him AND no. 1 overall. There's a separate set of expectations and other young QBs have lapped him.

Bryce's limitations are not a blanket excuse for anyone else. Some can't be proved until post Bryce times but there is substantial evidence that some WRs deserve reasonable criticism.

No one ever said Legette didn't deserve criticism, but you just can't say, with authority, that he's a lost cause considering the circumstances.

Have said consistently: lack of effort on his part cannot be blamed on anyone else... including Bryce.

My opinion on him doesn't change unless I see him giving his all at on every play.

Now with regard to this game, he's definitely looked better (even with a brain fart or two).

We're just going to disagree on that one pass in the end zone. It was nowhere near X and body momentum is a thing regardless who wants to discount it.

He's had his issues, but are we going to keep holding that one play where he didn't get his feet in bounds against him weeks later? I mean, I'm more apt to hold the recent false starts against him more than that damned play.

All I'm saying is that there are plenty of other extenuating circumstances to the perceived failures of X than actual effort. This isn't a clear case of X sloughing it out there.
