All it takes to make Bryce Young look good is to hand the ball off 40 times, force 3 turnovers (one of which takes away at minimum a field goal), and score a touchdown on defense.

Canales is absolutely hamstrung by Bryce Young, period.

heck both the non-pick 6 turnovers were redzone turnovers.

I mean, we stole a win and that's great.  That's why sports is fun.  But if we played again this weekend, it's a double digit spread again and they would likely beat the breaks off us badly.  Think you have to keep perspective.  Any given Sunday is a thing, but those 2 teams are miles apart.

I think seasons and games like we are witnessing....is where you see orgs make really dumb decisions.  I would expect the Panthers to be as dumb as dumb orgs can get of their history.

We played a brand of football that masks terrible QB play.  With a good QB, and a turnover free game, we match them pretty evenly.

I mean, the Rams only punted once.  A team that doesn't turn the ball over turning it over vs a D without so many of our starters was wild.   Moving the ball was pretty effortless for them.

Think even with a good QB, they shred our D at much easier pace than vice versa.  Especially w/ no Horn out there.  Puca and Adams is just nasty business that we don't match.  And they were 7 yards per carry on the ground.

Like I said, the win is great.  Any given Sunday.  But if this front office starts thinking we aren't overachieving and getting some luck going our way this year.....I expect more really bad decision making.

Yeah I’ve watched Stafford for close to 20 years now and sometimes he has games where he just tries to pull poo out of his ass and that’s what Sunday was. Especially that corner endzone pass in the first half. He was just trying to show off his arm. A rams fan on another forum I post on said they hadn’t been in a close game in a while and it showed.

at the end of the days Stafford is just a big dumb hick from Texas with the biggest arm in the state. Shine on you dumb diamond go dawgs

    • Well we can certainly attest that regardless of Bryce and Canales highs and lows the roster as a whole does have enough talent for us to compete for the division and the playoffs. And the plus side is this is a very young team. In all honesty yes the Panthers offseasons the last couple of years have been a little too much good vibes only and sunshine and rainbows. Canales has the potential to be the Panthers head coach for the next several years. We are seeing the makings of what appears to be a culture shift but unfortunately we're walking a razor thin line between that and full on catastrophe until we can string together consistent convincing wins. I sincerely hope to see it to finish the season.
    • Honestly if Bryce wasn’t so bad for 2-3 quarters every game this would be a no brainer. Listening to post game commentary from players (Chuba and Ickey) they both said that Bryce was the key factor in the comeback and they all trusted and looked to him at the end of games to make a play. Kind of reminds me of another quarterback who was stuck behind Aaron Brooks in NO until we picked him up that always stepped up when the game mattered to make a play.    5-1 in one score games. The lone loss was the only game where Bryce didn’t make plays down the stretch to win it (and it was ugly). Whether you like it or not if we are within one score in the fourth then we have a chance with Bryce under center.
