Not sure I've seen a better DT at batting down balls at the LOS. He truly is smart that he realizes it will be hard to consistently get sacks because of the double/triple teams he faces, so he just watches the QB and gets his bear paws up once he see the QB getting ready to throw it.

On an unrelated note, as bad as Wharton has been for us, he did a good job getting pressure on that play that allowed DB to get the strip sack. Might be his first good play for us the entire year...

Where would DB rank on our all time d-line list?

Would be interested to see everyone's top 5

Defensive lineman or defensive tackle?

I guess maybe it doesn't matter because he's gonna rank near the top on either list. For overall DL it's hard to imagine anybody being better than Julius Peppers but hey... 😕

Came for the DB, stayed for the BY lol

Don't know who Kay Adams is but I like what she's saying. ( I just can't go to X to watch her. That place is poisonous. It's like a toxic dump site. I wanna take a shower after being there only 5 minutes )

Couldn't link her tweet about Brown without it adding that one.

Admittedly, that take is probably worthy of discussion...just not in this thread.

dont know if he is up to Warren Sapp level or Aaron Donald but i think he is nearing top 5. Also had Reggie White Mean Joe Green Cortez Kennedy. But the rate DB is moving up, he will be in the mix

    • Thank you so much for posting links to the players so I don’t have to copy and paste the name and look it up.
    • All signs point to legit. We’ve been way better than our record the last few years it’s just we’ve had brutal injury luck. Also I’ve watched nearly every game this year and 3 things have stood out to me even when healthy from early in the year to now: 1. Early on Lee had some brutal rotations and situational coaching but he’s improved a ton there. We lost some close ones early we should’ve won. Sure most our recent games have been blowouts but in close games we’ve improved a ton there. 2. Defense. Overall team defense has improved so much, it’s not just hot shooting winning games. This D is absolutely a real trend and sustainable. LaMelo in particular has gone from flat out bad defensively to above average. We have so much length we always should’ve been good defensively but it took time for guys to buy in and really hone in on it which they have.   3. Pretty much all our young guys have taken strides forward. Moose’s development as a passer has been insane, Miller is putting it all together to be an elite 3 tier scorer able to hit 3s, mid range and finish at the rim. LaMelo still some poor shot selection but has cut the turnovers considerably. Kon has been a great shooter all year but has steadily improved in other aspects of the game too.      It has definitely been surprising how quickly it all came together out of nowhere but really none of it surprises me. We’ve been building towards this for years now.
