I don't think teams are going to pass up on an impact player regardlessly if whether they need something else. There's a good argument that drafting an inferior player, and especially an obviously inferior player, based upon need is a pathway to failure. 

I'm glad we took Tetairoa McMillan even though there were arguably bigger needs.

I'll be surprised if Simpson falls that low. I think teams will like how quick he gets rid of the ball. There are enough QB desperate teams in the top 12 between Cleveland, Raiders, Jets, possibly Rams (Stafford is up there in age), and possibly the Vikings if they think JJ is Jamarcus Russell 2.0

I saw one site had Cade Mays asking for 12-13 million a year and stating he might get that on the market. I do not see that. Austin Corbett is on a 3 million dollar a year contract. Decisions to be made here might affect how we draft.

Yeah and we took Shaq when we had TD and Butler when we had Star and KK. You'll take guys at positions of strength when you think they're by far and away the best talent available but you better be right when you do. Drafting a bust like Butler with a luxury pick at a position of strength is a real kick in the teeth
