Bryce extension plus Canales firing would be the most sicko poo imaginable.

Evero still not allowed to leave for sins he committed in his past life.

If they extend Young Canales will be back. They are tied at the hip.

Is this one of those stats that Bryce apologists will choose to ignore, but then throw out some deep cherry picked analytical stats that say he is the best deep passer in the league?

The term you are looking for is big-time throws.

It even sounds like GenZ nonsense.

Only problem is hot HC candidates don't want to come here. Remember Steichen, Johnson and Ryans all turned down Tepper for interviews. We got DC because we were his only interview.

They didn't want to come here because they would be tied with Young for their 1st season. They also couldn't impress Tepper with some bs during the interview. If Tepper wants a quality HC he needs to stay out of the interviews and day to day coaching decisions.

Right now there's no guarantee they still won't be. I still think that's what happened with Frank. He was told he'd get to choose his QB only to get stuck with Bryce. I wouldn't put it past Tepper to exaggerate the truth if it came down to it.

This is who Bryce is, an inconsistent and limited passer. Get used to it, I have. I'm sure he's going to ball out this Sunday and have a great game.... then throw for 130 vs our playoff opponent

To hell with that. We ask for Young to show us what he is this season and he did. He's shown us that he isn't a franchise qb or even a good backup. The team is going nowhere with him behind center.

Money talks my friend. All Tepper has to do is hand Dan a blank check and tell him to hire the best HC candidate available. Then keep his ass out of it.

Is it that Canales isnt doing a good job or is Canales limited because Bryce cant do as much as he would want to do. If Canales gets a better QB who can actually threaten deep, do you think his play calling is more open?

Personally I believe Canales is limited do to Bryces limited abilities and what he has done with them has been actually decent.

Does it though? Money wasn't enough to pull the 3 I mentioned. Dave is a problem. He's said he makes his opinion known in the FO and I'm not sure how many coaching candidates are going to want to have Monday morning QB meetings with the owner. I'll be honest too, I don't trust Dan that much either right now. He had a good draft class this year it appears, but he also whiffed just as badly in the other direction last year. Letting him pick another HC if we have to go that direction doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies.

We know that. I'm not sure those in charge do. We've seen some pretty stupid things regarding our QB room, especially not even pursuing a capable backup QB. I think they see that Atlanta game and the passes he's dropped for TDs as signs he's capable he just needs more help, time, etc and do something very stupid.

Obvious now and obvious then. It was 100% a salvage Bryce assignment. If you took it.
Tepper, and Bryce. Yeah, if I have other options I don’t pick up the phone.

Bro, how dare you disparage “big time throws.”🤣🤣🤣

In all seriousness, he should have sole possession of lowest all-time locked up, as the OP said, he has 500+ more attempts, so that’s gotta be weighted heavier.

Even the Cardinals moved on from Rosen immediately. You aren't going to get top quality candidates if you force them to use a player just so you can try to salvage the debacle of trading away the #1 overall in the upcoming draft.

And yet so many HCs have failed with him.

Also taking the better job only makes him look better too. DC taking the job here makes him look real dumb IMO, richer sure but dumb AF

Putting the comical Urban Meyers debacle aside…..Trevor only has one losing season as a starter and he was comically injured that year and really shouldn’t of been on the field.

still a disappointment but thats a totally different realm than Bryce’s version of disappointment.  Trevor been a solid starter in 3 of his seasons

Trevor is a bust given expectations but is a clear NFL caliber starting QB.  Just middle tier.  He has a lot to work with for a good OC.  Great OCs would struggle with Bryce.   Green newb OC like Canales got zero shot
