doesnt matter who we draft at RB. It wont help that Bryce cant push the ball downfield for a game. They will continue to stack the box eliminating any run game.

It also doesn't help to have a complete and utter moron calling plays.

I think we may have tried to run it outside once the entire game. Just moronic play calling having just about every one of our run plays be a dive with Vita vea being one of the best run defending DTs in the NFL

Exactly. There was absolutely nothing creative in the run game. Just the same old sh*t, over and over.

Reminds me of the saying:

“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

It was dead 2 months ago. Last week Seattle stayed in cover 2 the whole game and we still couldn’t run. Chuba hasn’t rushed for 100 yards all season and Rico’s last 100 yard game was the first week of November.

Not true. Seattle ran man the whole time and completely fooled Dumb ass Dave. It’s as easy as pie. Teams don’t believe Bryce will beat them so they load the box. Cant run on stacked fronts.

They ran man but stayed with two high safeties, Seattle does not load boxes for any team. Go rewatch the game

Same with the niners game, they did not stack the box.

And yes you can run on loaded boxes

You can but not well and consistent.  Running with 9 in the box isn’t a recipe. And for some reason, dumbass Dave won’t use Play action

I do acknowledge we didn't try different things to spark the running game.  At the same time, when every OL is getting whipped by the Tampa D, it's just a difference between being tackled for a loss between the hash marks or tackled for a loss outside the hash marks.

We dont need to draft a RB, just roll next year with Chuba, Brooks, and Etienne.  Dowdle will go somewhere else, someone will pay him and we have too many holes to invest MORE resources at RB.  FA money needs to be focused on a WR2 opposite Tmac and LB, We need Pass rush but not sure who we could actually get because they Pass rushers cost so much money.

    • I think i like the Oregon Safety better
    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
