If the STs and defense don't play nearly perfect ball, we don't win.  On the flip side, we have lost several games were the other two phases of the team held up their end of the deal and we still lost.

Defense was basically half the offense on Saturday.

Just imagine the how much worse that would be if you take out the clear outlier Falcons 30-0 win?

We won one game by more than one score...the prior mentioned Falcons game.  Only one other by more than 3 points, the Jets. So we can merely slide by in games we win, but only 2 of our 9 losses were by one score differential.  Seems a bit lopsided, no?

But hey we made the playoffs get excited and indignant if people point this out

its what we have been saying for 3 weeks now.  If dave doesnt make some massive changes to the offense we are going to be a 6ish win team next year

This should be the easiest week of coaching to get your team ready to go if you're Dave. 0 respect and nothing to lose

Ummm... have you seen Dave prepare for big games? They haven't gone well and we usually look worse than a scout team offense playing in the preseason... just utterly inept

    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
    • Didn’t get around to watching this one but looks like Pistons played their starters and actually tried…? Unlucky that they sit vs Magic, etc and try vs us. Hopefully we can beat the Heat and then Magic or 6ers with no Embiid. BUT if not, the NBA really should give us the lottery win this year like they did Mavs last year. Another high pick could be our final missing piece and have us as legit top contenders next year and going forward if we’re healthy. Or trade it for a Giannis type
