Kuechly on the state of the Panthers

Nice little video with Kuechly's perspective on the state of the team.

But does Kuechly work for the Panthers in some capacity? He keeps referring to the them as "we".

I think former players are justified in using the term we when referring to former teams, especially when they spent their whole career with them

His play calling and time management at times has been suspect but the organization has been extremely stable under his stewardship. Not sure how you can disagree with Kuechly on that point.

Going to hit 3 years with the same system and upper level coaches and FO. 
 

For us, I would agree that is stable. 

Stable might be about to turn into stagnant II this offense doesn’t pick it up.

Yeah, taking the stable thing too far can be just as bad as no stability. We will find out this season for sure.

I mean... I'm about as distrusting of Canales as you will find, but he has at least had the team improve record wise each season. I think if he gets rid of the rah rah rah mentality and gets an OC that he will let call plays, I'll be more of a fan

The sheer fact that for 1.5 out of 2 seasons he’s been head coach the team hasn’t been an outright embarrassment is an improvement over the previous 2 head coaches David Tepper picked

Well, I wouldn't expect Luke Kuechly to be negative. I'll begin to buy the positivity when I see the results of free agency and the draft, but I won't actually buy in until I see steady improvement from a win-loss perspective during the 2026 season. Bryce Young and coaching on both sides of the ball will play a huge part in regards to that bottom line.
