Who did you have in mind?ย

I dont have my finger on the pulse like I did in my 20s where i know all the prospects. But I seem to recall most of the time the best center available is usually mid 1st to early 2nd so its right there if thats what we wanna do. I think something OL needs to be the pick regardless of position.ย

There are some guards and OTs with short arms that project to C, so it is difficult to know--Heck, the RT from Utah I think, who was considered a mid first rounder, is now being discussed as a G or C because his arms are 32" or so.

I have no ideaย what thet will do. My guess is they will bring in the #19 prospects for official visits soon and what we've seen are trade situation prospects.

Tetairoa visited mid April last year.

I really think that we are going BPA.ย  I would like an OT but, it really is going to come down to the best player.ย  Especially if it any one of the primary needs.

Personally, I have argued that the pick is probably unlikely to be an OT in an effort to read the tea leaves, but I am an OL fanatic and would get it. By now, they probably have info about Ickey and I think the decision will be based on the likelihood of his return to form by 2027.ย ย

Thanks to Cosell, I am more inclined to lean towards the Z WR and Concepcion or Cooper.ย  After he explained it, I felt that it is a need.ย ย

DT could easily be the pick.ย  Who did we get to replace Robinson?ย  I think any GM looks to upgrade a position, not simply replace.ย  That would suggest an early draft pick, maybe?

I am not happy about having Scott back.ย  Please tell me that was a depth move.ย ย

When it comes to TE, I pray we don't love Sadiq.ย ย

I doubt it is a CB, C, or Edge, but if an elite CB or Edge fell to us....(to your point).

I think we could try to trade back if there is a market.

I think they wanted to dispell the rumors of his work ethic, but that is speculation.ย  Interesting point.ย  I am thinking (right now) that they might go WR again.ย ย

I want something else, but I've got to say I think we grab an OT in the first. We are looking at future issues at OT on both sides of the line after this season (and that's IF there are no further injuries). If Icky can come back, he's going to be somewhat expensive. Moton is winding down his career (and I hate to see him go, but his cost vs value curve is tightening up about as fast as his sciatica is on Monday mornings).ย

In a perfect world, we grab the best OT available and let him learn behind Rasheed Walker, Moton and the rest of our experienced linemen. If Icky comes back next year or late this season, that's great. If not, and Walker proves to be too expensive, we have our guy in place. If Icky does come back, we slide the guy to OT and move ahead, with five years of reasonable costs for OT.

If I had my drothers, though, I want a TE or MLB right off the bat, the best one available.ย

Just not another WR.ย  We need to let our current trio cook a bit more. I'm not completely given up on XL. Third season tells the tale on WRs and he deserves at least that.

Plus, on first rounders, grab someone who is involved in either every offensive or defensive play. Get the mileage guys here.

This is the best reason for drafting a T--Moton's knee is also a big concern for me--I am not sure if it is still justified, but leg injuries for big men can be degenerative.ย  I have argued against it--I think Morgan will think it has been addressed and will draft a Late-round OT with upside.ย  Forsythe?ย  What the hell was that?ย

I am leaning WR (guessing what they might do) because they really don't have a Z WR, based on Cosell's description of the position. TE is in play.ย  DT is in play.ย  The thing I am most confident about?ย  LB in round 2.
