I have no idea who ya'll is I responded about the opponents.

There is no way we are getting past the likes of the Lions Bears Broncos Seahawks Packers Browns Steelers and Eagles without a godly running game because we certainly aren't going to pass all over them.

Maybe you should ask your buddy Dan Morgan to bring in some real QB competition pal.

You want to call me out for one thing and out of nowhere insert your Morgan obsession into it. You be you.

Doesn’t seem to matter how many times people try to hip you to what an assistant is, you just won’t accept it. You are apparently hard wired into believing an assistant calls the shots and keeps his job by disputing the boss. And if he doesn’t do that, well he is just as bad as the boss.

I don’t know if you will ever learn that yes you can disagree with the boss, but once you make your argument and he doesn’t buy it, you are done. There is nowhere else to go with it, either get behind it or you’ll have problems. Because you will be a problem. I think you probably do know that but for the sake of your anger choose to disregard it so you can keep ranting bullshit that you have no proof of about Dan Morgan being Fitterer.

You know once upon a time some people responded this way to others about Scott Fitterer too. Ultra defensive. Angry. How dare you say those things etc. And at the end of the day. All this bluster for a guy whose resume is one terrible draft and one solid draft. And overpaying free agents and assembling the highest paid OL two years in a row just to achieve middling results. And trading up to draft Xavier Legette who is basically a clone of Terrace Marshall Jr and Jonathan Mingo. We aren't talking Ozzie Newsome or Howie Roseman here. But no worries. Keep your fantasy alive brother. Blessings to you.

You can play it that way if you want, but I am not the angry one. That is you. And fantasy? As if You have the facts? Where did you get your facts? Because my whole point with this is that you are condemning Morgan for something you really don’t know anything about. I don’t either. That is the point, that I won’t condemn him for things that were on Fitterer’s watch and you will.

I think for Dan to have gotten the GM job, he had to be involved pretty heavily as Fitt's assistant. I've been an assistant and I've had them. If all Dan did was agree to whatever Scott said, then he was nothing more than a coffee guy. I'm sure he was doing evaluations, draft boards, going after FAs, all that stuff. Fitts couldn't do it all. How much Fitts listened to him we'll never really know, but I'm sure he was giving his input. I condemn him for being part of that group and part of the results of the results of that team.

His first year drafting was horrible, very reminiscent of Fitts drafts. Reaches and projects. His 2nd year was better. We'll see what happens this year and how his team building overall comes together. Right now I think we're a 7-10 team, very limited by our QB play. Hopefully Bryce either turns a corner into a franchise QB or tanks so spectacularly we have no choice but to move on. If he rides that roller coaster again, I hope Dan can admit it's time to look elsewhere.

Dan like Dave listens to the boss of all bosses. And that boss is seemingly ready to go down with the ship if it comes down to it because his ego is that big. It's best for everyone to begin acclimating to that reality.

I've been saying for a long time Bryce and his stay here are the result of Tepper and his ego. You don't limit a coach and GM to a specific QB unless you have something to try and prove. Big Daddy Dave is trying to prove he knows football as well as he does financial matters.

I have lots of different thoughts on it. This argument, the primary thing is I don’t like seeing him or anyone, being convicted on hearsay and/or pure speculation. Which some are doing.
I don’t care That much about defending Morgan as I do about the criticism being fair minded.

You sort of assert that Dan was just a yes man. I don’t think we know if he ever pushed back against Fitterer but I have this instinct thing that needs me to satisfy the question of: if Tepper was so down on a Fitterer as to fire him, why in the world would he hire his carbon copy? I guess maybe he wanted a yes man.Like I said, lots of different thoughts.

I am just not gonna judge him that harshly based only on speculation. I am sticking with what he has done starting when he was hired as GM. Maybe I am more lenient because the first season for him and Canales, I gave both a pass. Said I would judge them after the first year. Stuck to it. If you can get to the reality that neither were ready for the job and say okay give them a year get their feet wet, it looks a lot better.

And we are not bound to Bryce yet. Yes, for yet another fuging year he can probably marginally improve and slide by like he has been doing. But if they add even more people and he regresses? I think we could see some relief.

The QB room? As I understand it, Pickett was Canales’ choice. If we need to blame people for poo. In a sense, he is very Bryce like. So makes a good plug in. I get that a little bit. We still have the draft. If they do better than Jake Plummer or Hooker I’ll know they are trying.

    • OL then RB would make heads explode but its might not be too unlikely
    • Wonder if we draft a RB. Seems like a lot of eggs in Brooks’ basket right now.  And the OL, no kidding. If that running game goes to hell with what we have at QB, you can forget competing. It is so much more important than sticking another wideout on the field. Take your wideout later.
