Not sustainable. I want Pittsburgh against the canes so they can end his career with this buzz saw of a team. No one is beating the canes in the east. The only team that can match them player for player is the avalanche

I don't really take any team lightly because anything can happen.  But it would be nice to sweep Pittsburgh out of the playoffs.

Not sure I would go that far. While I would be surprised if the flyers or penguins beat us, the lightning, Canadians, or Sabres could very easily beat us with the talent they all have

So, Boston puts a shot on goal, Lyons has it under his blocker side skate, no whistle, get poked in. No goal.

Ref: "I meant to blow the whistle for a frozen puck." WTF?

Whistle didn't go until the puck was in the back of the net. Not even close.

    • a 4th for him is well worth the risk.  It is also a low enough pick that it shouldn't really shake the locker room.  A 4th rounder that will sit this year and maybe take Pickett's spot next year or best case midseason where we can flip Kenny to a QB needy team midseason.  It's also a nice insurance policy for Young.  Especially with him sitting a year and learning the system.  Seems like a low risk move.  You can still draft one next year if needed and let them compete.
    • He was draft eligible last year and chose to go back to transfer and play another year of college ball despite it being a weak QB draft and next year's considered to likely he far better and now people think teams are going to part with a higher pick than he would've gotten drafted with in April after it's come out that he's basically a degenerate gambling addict? What am I missing here? I'll be surprised if any team offers up more than a 5th and it won't surprise me if no one even offers that.
    • If You’re a team with multiple 1st round picks it would be a decent setup for a gamble - if I understand the rules.  You are bidding 2027 currency and get to use the player in 2026.     You get the season to look at him and if you are unhappy then you still have another 1st round pick for after the season. Two in the case of the Jets.   So if you mess it up there is a fast way to recover from it.
