Hypothetical Pick If Not Freeling

Well I am behind the decision, but really liked Lemon’s game. I think we need that element or dimension in the offense.

But really, I was a trade down and still get OT guy. Not trading down might cost us tomorrow.

I needed T to be covered, but I badly wanted ILB. Rodriguez, or Golday preferably. That may not happen now.

I like our chances of having a good option at LB tonight in the 2nd. Rodriguez, Hill, Allen, and Golday are all still available and I don't see them all going in the first 18 picks tonight.

With the moves we made in FA, I'd be very happy with a LB in the 2nd. Plus you'd like to think Dan Morgan (and I'm sure some input from Kuechly) can identify a great LB talent.

Lemon or Thieneman were just obvious choices there.  I'm all about the trenches, but we already made offseason investments on the line as contingencies to injury issues.  The cold, hard truth is that Freeling doesn't really make the team any better all things being equal, and if so, it's marginal.  There were impact players out there that would have represented bigtime upgrades over the current roster.

I hope you are right. Because that is for sure my fear, that they get poached.

Im like most everyone and covet Rodriguez. But I think he is out of reach. I like Golday. I am not that big on Hill Jr but would settle for him.
Definitely admit that I have fixated on ILB for us this off-season to the exclusion of exploring other options in the 2nd.
I think DL is pretty important and if we are out on ILB and have a good option there I would slot it over WR.

Our needs combined with this draft class has always neen screaming LB in the 2nd. Hopefully it all plays out that way.

It seems freeling was better at stuff than lemon. I don't know interviews or meds, freeling does come off a NFL OLman. Lemon is leaving LA and heading to Philly, what a change.....that can ruin most men.

There *was lots of unknown with OT...now panthers have 4 proven players, Dan can take calls about walker if freeling is ready...or just simple cut him its "only" 4 million contract and Im sure team would claim him. But a trade for mid rounder could be in the works, TC injuries happen to LT every year....Walker should be worth a pick or two...

Gosh I wouldn’t trade Walker right now. I mean if Morgan promised him the job and now might take it away he could feel like he wants out and make waves. Otherwise I just wouldn’t do that.
