This is pretty hilarious. The per @josephperson is in reference to the same article that certain users here went off deep end about re: Bryce Young extension. The same users in here saying things like “finally, common sense” were in the other thread that linked the same article that this tweet references wailing away about an extension.

Unfortunately, I think we are already at that precipice this season. If he is even modestly successful this year, he's getting a new contract. I don't think it will require playoffs, I don't think it will even require double digit wins. Think about how it could be spun if we end up with just 7 wins. That's only 1 less win than last year, against a 1st place schedule too.

So, it sets up a problem, do you want to lose out, and get a fresh start?

Or stay the course and reward Young with 50 million?

Next year has some big QB prospects.

I just kind of feel there are certain forces in the organization that are itching to crown our new franchise QB. 

Should be an interesting year.
