a bunch of whiny babies getting all bent out of shape over harmless jokes about Bryce being an aww shucks super blessed guy who said a bad word is so bryce young fan coded. He could fall down the stairs and ya’ll would blame gravity

You do realize that throwing yourself into the middle of a busy street and whailing at the top of your lungs over people saying things that hurt your feelings doesn't make you a superior human being right? Seems like an extremely cringy waste of time and energy bud.

We get trolls like you making statements in the form of stupid questions every now and then. You are trying to say we don’t talk about anything other than Bryce Young here and rather than explain reality I will just agree with you so you will be happy. 

As you know, I don't think Bryce is an NFL QB and this will be his last season as QB1 here. Still,  there's some merit to criticism that every thread doesn't have to devolve into the same Bryce discussion.

Monster run game is about the only path to the playoffs for this years Panthers. So hopefully Brooks is set for a big season. It would certainly soften the image of the horror story that has been the 2024 draft class.

Him panning out would help. And that class needs a lot of help. Trevin Wallace wasn’t on my bust radar two years ago but he is  now.

I understand that but have also posted numerous comments on other subjects that run parallel to any Bryce stuff. (And this is a daily type of thing). If something leads to him it just does. He is the QB for fugs sake. They get the most attention. Always. 
This is normal stuff. If people don’t want negative comments made, the player has something to do with that. He has the power to shut that down.

Not saying you specifically, but almost every thread does become a Bryce parrot exercise. It could be about a defensive rookie and someone will say something like "so what, we can't win with Bryce at QB."  It's tiresome

I was on a list above your first post (at the very top of it) It is what it is.  See, Bryce is on many people’s minds and it only takes one person going there.  To put it out there first.  
 

I think it is just the way it goes and again, if a player doesn’t give people ammunition then the player probably suffers fewer attacks. Or negative comments.  Or is less often the butt of a joke.

      I'd like to see the gameday chats come back, especially if you can get it mobile compatible and like those support chats that stay on the screen even when you move around the site. We could use them during CLTFC and Hornets games now too.

      There's a lot of truth here, but at the same time, that one year of production we might be paying for is actually paying for a development arc. And a lot of players have those. QB is the most complicated position in sports, hands down.  I'm not saying Bryce will make it past the hump this year, the odds are stacked against him just like any QB in the league that isn't already considered an elite player (and there are only about 5-8 of those at most). Arcs happen, and slow arcs happen, too. Sam Darnold seemed a wash up for the Jets and a horrible mistake. He was better with us, but still couldn't carry a bad team on his shoulders (or bad coaching). He went to Minnesota and got a shot under better coaching with more mature eyes to see the field. Something sparked and then he took his team to the Super Bowl and brought home a ring. Baker Mayfield had a similar arc, and may yet hit the big game. Hell, locally, Jake Delhomme had one. Or Bryce could flutter back down having already hit his peak. It happens. More often than any of us want to admit. We've paid for a full development arc for Bryce, but we've had it on rookie deal rates and that's been a savings that has let us build out the rest of the team, which was really needed. Maybe we end up diving back into the QB pool in the first round next season. Might be the guy, might not.  But he'll be set up with a better team that Bryce was when he started. Or maybe, just maybe, Bryce adds another seven TDs and loses four INTs on the season. Grabs three more wins and maybe a playoff win, maybe two. It's not completely impossible and that'd be great for the team and for him.  We're just going to have to tune in and see how it plays out. Probably won't be boring.

      I am holding out hope for a miraculous run this season. But you know the narrative around him is peak delusional when the Panthers social team can post this without even a hint of irony. Four years and almost 50 games into his career he still looks like he's never set foot in the weight room. Really?
