The Canes can beat this team.  It’s a much different matchup from Montreal.  I think they will adjust and win game 2.

I wouldn't mind moving Aho or Svech in the off-season, Svech is good for a goal or 2, and about 10 penalties

Rod didn’t really play them like the top line tonight.  They didn’t start the game.  The 2nd power play unit got all the primary time.  And when the 1st unit got back on the ice it was a mashup with Staal at center and Aho on the wing.

Carolina played 1 period of Canes hockey.

50/50 pucks and board battles were lost everywhere.

No puck handling, no clears and bad passes everywhere.

Vegas scored off every mistake the Canes made in their defensive end. 

That's it in a nutshell.

I thought Svech has played well overall.  I’m not sure what the sleeping Jarvis and Aho have been up to.
