They need to rebuild the top line. Honestly stankoven can easily just be on the top line going forward. It’s probably time to move on from Svech and get a real elite winger

Aho has been a point per game player in his playoff career before this year. Svechnikov before this playoff had 23 goals and 48pts in 66 games. This new found false history of they disappear in the playoffs is ridiculous. Lol

Based on everything I've heard from the team internally is that Rod can stay as long as he wants. Mostly because him and his staff are still underpaid and Dundon won't spend top dollar on a staff, so any top names are out.

I think it’s rooted in what happens to the team every year.  I can’t speak to the regular season, but I know when I’ve started watching in the playoffs each season under Rod, we just run into a team that has our number and we look completely helpless and hopeless.  As someone said earlier, this is par for the course, only difference being that we made it a round further this year.  poo is deflating.

and don’t get me wrong, I love Rod, but after how the last couple seasons ended, I think if we were any other franchise that didn’t have the history we do with Rod, they would’ve fired him.  Minus the reaching the championship round, it feels like we’re a great organization that is well coached, well assembled, but just can’t get over the hump - almost like the 90s Bills.

I mean Rod's new contract is 2m a season when the average NHL coach contract is 3m roughly. Top 5 coaches make 4.5-6.5m
