just giving him crap :D

i'll miss you guys (some of you anyway :p) but i've just got alot of stuff to take care of IRL my relationships, family, career and should probably get off my slack ass and get to working out again. and it's not getting done if i'm wasting all my time doing random crap (only one of which was coming on here) so I'm trying to cut out all the distractions right now.

hopefully one of em slaps me with a permaban soon, too easy and tempting to swing by "real quick" to see what's up and get stuck spending alot of time here again

it's definitely not the site, it's all on me, i spend way way too much time doing nothing but wasting time, whether it's here or doing several other random stuff that's just a big time sink when I really need to spend that time on more important things. so I'm just cutting out the distractions and focusing on improving the things that I should have been working on all along, already canceled my stupid MMORPG account too haha :D

My draft recap

1.6 (6) St. Louis (from Cleveland) - Marcell Dareus, DT, Alabama

2.24 (56) St. Louis (from New Orleans) - Titus Young, WR, Boise State

5.5 (133) St. Louis (from Arizona) - Kendall Hunter, RB, Oklahoma State

5.17 (145) St. Louis (from Oakland) - Davon House, CB, New Mexico State

6.16 (176) St. Louis (from Oakland via New York Jets) - Ricky Elmore, DE, Arizona

6.20 (180) St. Louis (from New York Giants via Arizona) - Lawrence Wilson, OLB, Connecticut

7.5 (197) St. Louis (from Arizona via New York Jets) - Noel Devine, RB, West Virginia

7.21 (213) St. Louis (from Indianapolis via New York Jets) - Henry Hynoski, FB, Pittsburgh

Dareus is a BEAST, next 3 picks look very good as well. My 6th and 7th round picks all kinda look terrible so far but oh well.

    • Irony yes you could say that as long as there is no intent to claim that because he left we all of a sudden got so bad we are losing all the time. Which it seems like you might be trying to imply.  Did we lose something? Yes we did. Was it worth 5 years at 28 mil per? Not to my thinking.

    • First: What do you think the word ‘scapegoating’ means? Because what I said was not scapegoating.  They are two different players playing two different roles.  I simply said two things about Burns, if I recall. One, basically he is a one dimensional player that is doing well because they have a very strong front in NY.  Two, I was against paying his price because he is a liability against the run. One dimensional and therefore not worth it.  Summing it up: he e is a pass rush specialist, about all I have ever felt about him, and his financial demands made him much less of a value.  IMO.
