Well of course we might draft him, that's my whole point. Just like we might draft every other player we watch at their pro day. There is absolutely no reason to pin point any one player in order to get offeres to trade down.

Many people see Cam in particular as a high risk/reward player that many people feel won't go #1 because of those risks. Maybe Buffalo feels safe at #3 that they can get him because he's too risky for #1.

We show interest, they bite.

Just an example. Whether that is happening or not is another discussion but the fact you don't understand how it's possible is baffling.

Lets say Arizona falls in love with Cam. They think we love him too, but do not know for sure. (We really like Peterson and Quinn, but do not want others to know this because either would be a reach at #1). They also know we have multiple needs. They would make us the offer, not Buffalo or Denver, if they want to move up.

So our displayed interest in Cam was a smokescreen, I suppose, to get a deal to move down.
