Beason: Cam For No.1, Has "It" Factor

Remember Dan Morgan came on this board last year and said we should pick up Vick... most everyone ridiculed him for that and even resorted to concussion jokes.

Beason knows more about what it takes to be a successful QB in the NFL than anyone on this board, maybe we should give the man the benefit of the doubt?

Why? Because he plays in the NFL he automatically knows what it takes to make it at a different position? Why doesn't Tuck's opinion matter on what it takes to be a QB and how they don't last?

Why don't players just shut the *** up and play the game we are paying the to play and not talk so damn much.

Why doesn't he want us to bring in VY anymore? He just changes his mind from one black QB to the next black QB without any questions on why?

The interesting part of that isn't who Beason wants us to draft.

It's the insight into what a team captain (and probably other players) thinks of Clausen.

This has always been what I thought was more interesting.

People have tried, and failed, to get the young RBs and WRs on twitter to say anything negative about Clausen. I think the only thing we got out of Lafell was the "He dat deal" about Luck.

Beason has also said some very positive things about Clausen in the media I thought, but it's been a bit since I read them.

So you think he's wrong about Cam having the "IT" factor? Because there is plenty of evidence to back up Beason's opinion. You don't come out of nowhere and QB a team to a NC without the rest of the team playing hard for you.

Didn't say anything about Beason's opinion (although I don't agree on drafting him) Just said player opinions don't necessarily count in the draft process.
