Decertification

The NFL has said the union was offered unprecedented financial data, including some the league doesn't share with clubs. The league thought it was the first step in the beginning of financial transparency, but it was not transparent enough for the NFLPA.

Ugh.

For 2 years Smith has been harping on wanting full financial disclosure. He has refused to budge on that even when the owners kept improving their offers, especially the last 2 weeks. Again, that's not negotiating, that's acting like a f**king child that's whining because they aren't getting their way.

Wow, what a completely uninformed speculative comment.

Don't tell me you're losing money and want $1 billion dollars back. SHOW ME! It's that simple. You can't ask the players union to give ONE dollar back without showing a loss.

Now the courts will show the truth....

F**k the NFL as a whole. Dips***s have had 2 years or more to figure this out. My respect for the entity as a whole, at the moment, has bottomed out. Business is business, but one way or another neither side wanted this to actually get done. Talk about killing the golden goose.

It'd be the difference between having to give someone a $70 mil contract and a $20-30 mil contract.

How is this to our benefit anyway? I havent paid attention to the rookie pay scale, but I am assuming it goes by draft pick number, so the #1 overall is going to get paid the most. I do know that this will limit the rookie salaries, but we still gonna have to pay up.
