But there is factual evidence you can look back on for Newton and actual sanctions in place.

Mallet is just a bunch of rumors that you guys are running with.

You got upset when we brought them up with Cam but now you are bringing up less credible accusations against Mallet.

I don't like either of them, I just don't think it's fair to Mallet when they haven't been cited as to the source or proven factual.

He's the best passer in this draft hands down and if you wanted a QB to help us right away and you didn't care about off field issues, you'd want us to draft Mallet #1

If someone said that about Cam, you'd have defended his honor to the death but since it's Mallet it's just funny and a reason not to draft him. If it was Cam it's racist and we have a personal agenda against Cam.

pure passer but not QB. he cant take pressure and has pretty bad pocket awareness. if the game was played in shorts i would have no problem taking him at #1.

From a purely talent perspective, Mallet is pretty perfect for our offense, a cannon of an arm who can make every throw and doesnt have to worry about running. That said, he has so many red flags that its almost a putt putt course.

I wouldn't be upset if we drafted Mallett. I would just rather see about 5 other players instead of him him but he is a big time talent.

I'm not one of those guys who have only two beliefs. He is either the next great player of he just flat sucks. There are just some guys i like better than others.

A college kid drinking beer is nothing compared to cocaine addiction, which is what most people are worried about.

I'm not acting like anyone else. I hate all the QBs in this draft the same and wouldn't want any of them to be a Panther next year. If I HAD to have one of them, I want Kaepernick in the 5th or later.

Why is bringing Mallett in not a smoke screen but bringing other quarterbacks in still one? We're doing our due diligence. If in the process we find a guy we like, great. If in the process we make some other team think we're going to take the guy they like, great. Either way, I doubt we take Mallett.

That is proof he got drunk in public. It's a character concern. However, to say that because he got drunk in public he does cocaine is insane... Obviously you investigate it, but come on. It's not proof he does cocaine. The point is, if anyone made "funny" images making fun of Cam Newton's past people would get all ultra sensitive about it, and when we even SUGGEST Cam Newton has character concerns that teams would look into (NOT issues, cause I dont know him just concerns to check out), it ends with people saying I'm assassinating a fine young man's character. FFS.
