I'll admit that I WTF'd at the Beason pick in 2007 (we were supposed to draft a TE dammit). He'd seriously changed my mind by the second or third preseason game though.

Going back in history (or recently) what were you completely wrong about? Could be a draft pick you wanted that turned out to be a bum, could be a coach you wanted that turned out to be a scrub, could be anything, Panther related that you were completely wrong on.

Ex: "I thought Jimmy Clausen would be a good NFL QB"

Ex: "I thought Jimmy Clausen would at least be a serviceable NFL QB"

EX " I thought there was no way Jimmy Clausen would turn out to be a complete and utter bum"

I was wrong about Atiyya Ellison (I'm sure that's not spelled correctly, but he didn't put forth the effort on the field, and isn't worth my effort to Google him) and Eric Shelton

I thought Matt Moore would get to play with the same guys in 2010 with minor changes to the lineup instead of the wholesale changes. I thought he would carry on in 2010 like he ended 2009.

I was wrong in thinking Fox gave a sh|t. I cursed him on many occasion for ducking for cover like a fragile lily amidst a hurricane whenever we got behind (or ahead) but I always thought that deep down the guy had the stones of a winner.

I thought that there was no way that we would keep Hurney after the cap problems forcing us to sign Jake to an extension. Add to that the Brown and AE picks, the long string of horrible 2nd round players, and a 2 win season. But what do you know, he's still here, and still making bad choices.

Thought the Clausen pick was the right one then, and still do now.
