So I sent an email through Panthers.com in support of drafting Newton and got a response saying that Danny Morrison wanted my contact info...

This should be interesting.

Other than that, all of the articles and tweets are NOTHING but speculation and conjecture at this point.

I think Riveria and Hurney were given marching orders.They have next year as a developmental year,the following year to be above 500 and the third year is where I think they will be expected to make the playoffs.With that in mind it is necessary to have a really good QB by that third year.

The options are Clausen or Moore,a qb in FA or draft a qb who will take a year to develope.I am sure they are going though every scenero.What is working to increase the chance they will draft either Newton or Gabbert is we do not have a CBA in place which makes it hard to find a QB in FA until after the draft.The other factor is we do not have a 2nd pick where there will be some decent qbs.So having said all that can they develope the raw talent that Newton or Gabbert have.If so draft a qb if not go after someone else.

Why does everyone keep saying trade for this person or that person with the lockout you can not trade anything put picks! Let face it if they want Newton they will get him regardless of what fans think because at the end of the day its a business not a popularity contest. They need to sell seats and how do you do that is by winning. True fans will respect the coaches and gm decision bandwagon fans will talk crap till we start winning then they'll jump back on,just my 2cents

      lmao that's a good point; but at the same time I think and HOPE Canales learned from how he operated last year, only giving us one real look against the Bills that had people shouting 'Super Bowl'...only to come out flat.

      I mean the whole defense was trash, he was at least trying. Besides if you put a all-pro among 10 PSers, that all-world will look human. It's very hard to judge very bad units and find the best players among them. Horn and Mjack played well too, there was 0 pass rush and -1777784 run defense.

      I was looking back and seen Evan Neal has made the switch to OG after awful years at OT.......I wanted him over Icky for his tricep alone..... I was 100% stroud too, I was super pissed about his record setting and playoff leading start......I had arich vastly over the midget BY too. But right now, BY is about the only one on the up&up. The Texans used lots of prime draft capital to help Stroud.  It's still not ready. But if you're honestly about past drafts, these GMs are not alone in making mistakes.  I still feel they should stayed put and allowed Carter to fall in their lap, but best I know Tepper had the worst rage about landing a QB for the past 5 years. The deal is with the correct coaching staff, Baker or darnold would still be here....Baker has signed 3 years for 100 million, which is a great NFL QB contract. Tepper hiring rhule and his shitty Baylor/temple staff was a massive setback given rhule was in control too. Then panic set in an d fitteerererererer had to make a winner and find a QB. Ugh.....I hope they are back...
