Had a segment discussing the Panthers draft plans today. Included a filmed interview with Rivera.

Didn't get to see all of it, but caught Rivera saying he felt Dareus was a little better all-around prospect than Fairley. Mike Golic and Merrill Hoge disussed potential picks after.

I believe it'll be rebroadcast tomorrow around Noon (if I read the listings right). Online video might be available at some point, but I haven't found it yet.

Golic is wrong about Fairley, if the pick is a DT it should be Dareus.

Rivera would seem to agree.

Which I find funny, because in the past when they asked John Fox about prospects, it tended to be "well, he's a good player, and so is he, and him too...etc etc" :sosp:

We're still not tipping our hand, mind you, but I think a lot of the overblown "cloak and dagger" stuff may have left with John Fox.

    • Trading for a 29 year old safety that the Dolphins just went out of their way to sign earlier this year when the team has needs across the rostet including the most important position on the field is malpractice. And if you don't want to discuss it then don't quote people.
    • NFL insider Jordan Schultz reports the Dolphins are open to trading S Minkah Fitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick was acquired earlier in the offseason in the trade that sent Jonnu Smith and Jalen Ramsey to Pittsburgh. According to Schultz, the Dolphins have received “interest from multiple teams” for Fitzpatrick, who is under contract through 2026. Fitzpatrick has appeared in all nine games for the Dolphins this season, totaling 50 tackles, five pass breakups, and one interception, while also recovering one fumble. Fitzpatrick, 28, has been named as a Pro Bowler for each of the last three years and would immediately improve whatever secondary he lands with
    • Funny seeing what I deem the top 3 negative Nancy's around here posting here.  If you don't like it, don't post.  Don't hate on Juan for giving up something to discuss other than "Bryce Young bad".
