Maybe Gailey, as widely reported, is enamored with Cam and desperately needs to do something at QB and to put asses in the seats.

There is no way the Bills would give up draft picks to

move up. In fact the inside word there is they want Gabbert

not Newton. They feel he brings more to the table. We should

stick with Jimmy another year and get Luck next year. Whatsa year??

Fairley was the mock #1 for weeks and weeks and Dareus is actually

better the Fairley. I'd go with a big defensive stud this year who will

be a pro-bowler for years and years. Play Clausen and if need be get

a Qb in 2012. Newton will be years and years away from being productive.

Improve this team more and how much by drafting another position besides QB?? It is not going to make a huge difference next season any way. A new player coming in will only have that much impact no matter what in year one, for the most part. So the Panthers go that direction, AGAIN, draft a position player, go ahead bring in a free agent Veteran (which they will do no matter what anyway), go 7-9 or 8-8 next season, hope Clausen develops and if not draft a QB next season in the middle of the 1st round??

Bottom line is the Panthers can go DT, DE, WR, CB and EVENTUALLY they are STILL going to need a QB! So if your the GM and Coach and think of them can be franchise QB you do it now. It makes no sense to pass on a guy, you know, this year for a QB in the middle of the 1st round next season who you have no idea who they are or done any evaluation on.

You only draft Gabbert or Newton if you truly believe that they are the franchse guy you want to build your team around.

If our Coaching staff believes that either is "the guy"....draft him.

If they have major questions about them...don't.

QB is a huge need......but you don't draft a questionable QB in a down draft merely for that reason.

That's what I'm saying. I'm not going to cry if we don't draft a QB if Rivera feels there isnt one. I could care less about Hurney even though he's involved. I want Cam Newton as a Qb. If they draft Mallet or Gabbert and they turn out better, great. If we draft Peterson or Dareus that'll be good too, but it still doesn't change the fact we need a franchise QB asap.

Mayock compared Gabbert to Bradford yesterday, hard to draft against that but I just don't see it. Our need at DT is a big as QV and there ate two top prospects who could help immensely and immediately.

I'd be ok with Gabbert, but not Newton though I'd prefer to avoid both.

I've been feeling for awhile that Cam will not make it past #3. The Bills can't smokescreen for sh*t. Every year they make it blatantly obvious who they're going to pick. One of many reasons why their organization is such crap. I don't think they're going to look to trade up for him though, our best bet is with Arizona or Cinci.

If our GM is smart (doubtful) he'll work something out in a trade. I'd like to see something like this.

1) Arizona - Gabbert

2) Denver - Dareus

3) Bills - Cam

4) Cinci - Green

5) Panthers - PP7

Get a 2nd in the process (and maybe a 5th/6th as well) and take Rudolph.
