Yas: Kicking the tires on Cam Newton

I heard one year that part of the Panthers drafting philosophies was to draft players that were among the most productive members of their class, YDS,TD's,YAC and stuff like that, look at Moose, DeAngelo and Jonathan Stewart. If they are going QB and they hold true to that past philosophy Newtons #'s and stats put him way above Gabbert.

I don't want Cam Newton. However, it is only due to the fact that I hate Auburn and any player that plays there. He stuck a dagger in my alma mater's heart in the Iron Bowl. If he had gone to Miss St, Wisconsin, Idaho or anywhere else, I would love to have him in a Panthers jersey. I would just hate to have to buy my sons Cam Newton, the former Auburn QB during their National Championship season, jerseys.

Sources tell the Miami Herald that NFL teams are worried about Blaine Gabbert's completion percentage on throws of five or more yards.

Gabbert's completion rate reportedly drops "dramatically" beyond five yards, and "more so than most other QBs" in the 2011 class. We've heard this criticism more than once. Gabbert's yards-per-attempt averaged ranked just eighth in the Big 12 conference last season. This will do nothing to dispel the notion that Gabbert is a media and possibly agent-created elite prospect.

I follow Gantt and in all honersty, I believe he's full of poo. He's acting like he knows everything... In reality, he don't know poo.

Also, Adam Schefter said there is a good chance AJ Green will go number 1 after his conversation with few sources. He said AJ Green is #1 on most teams boards.

And in fairness, Shefter changes his opinion more than he does his shirts. But that is what makes this fun. Gantt tweeted with certainty that he knew the reason (vaguely) for the presser in January. He was then corrected and literally made to look bad by JR. Gantt's sources seem to have gone dry.

I once emailed him and presented some facts. He contradicted the facts because they did not coincide with his most recent article. I checked his "counterfacts" and he was dead wrong. I sent the links to him. He did not respond.
