Yea, that new QB formula got me interested in Stanzi. Not that I'm putting any faith into a QB formula, but this one seems as good as any other. Seems a lot more trustworthy than Bill Parcells' formula... Do not like Dalton so much. Hate Yates. I liked the Youtube I've seen on Pat Devlin, but I dunno what to make of the bad combine and subpar pro day performances. Game performance > combine/pro day.

Tell me the logic in picking a QB in the later rounds. Are you interested in replacing Pike?? We will only keep 3 QBs this year although we might bring more to camp. If they aren't better than Clausen, are we doing anything but wasting the pick?? If Moore and Clausen stay as many speculate, then what iss the likelihood they stick unless we are talking about Pike's position??

I would rather go after a vet or a high draft pick. Anyone else would be a waste IMO. I also think there will be somewhat of a run on QBs this draft so there will be several guys (read 6 or 7) who might be gone by the time we pick again at the top of the third.

Ricky Stanzi, Tyrod Taylor, Greg McElroy. best fit for us out of those is McElroy.

I can't get behind Yates as a viable option. I watched him several times in person and I can't shake the notion that he makes poor decisions far too often. My daughter attended UNC the last 4 years and I remember a number of conversations about how he gave games away with poor decisions way too often. I think he improved his senior year but there appears to be better options.

I would agree. It will be interesting to see where he gets picked. We would have to be looking to replace Pike with him though and he is a project. As much as I don't think clausen is the answer, he would still be better than most guys taken outside of the top 15. I am predicting that at least 4 or 5 QBs get taken in the first round this year. Newton, Gabbert,, Locker and either Dalton or Mallett, perhaps both. Stanzi likely is a second rounder.
