I saw this the other day as well in an interview on E...

 

7 total seasons... which is odd to me since there will be 7 books and seasons 3 & 4 cover book 3.  Not sure how that's gonna work?

I'm telling you I think books 4&5 will be trimmed way way down to possibly one season or one and a half seasons.

I think they will gloss over a lot of the Pyke stuff.

Either that or the writers are just going to make their own ending.... Similar to what Martin has in mind and has told them. I don't know though. It'll definitely be interesting to those that have read the books. Those that haven't won't know the difference.

So haven't been following GOT and did a binge watch the past 4 days.  Havent read any books but seems like Star Wars set in the middle ages.
