I guess it just goes to show just how good of a show Game of Thrones has been so far.

We have an episode in which three major things happen or are revealed:

1- Dany decides that instead of sailing for Westeros she will stay and finish what she started in Slaver's Bay, which is a major decision

2- We see Bran now has the ability to warg into a human, which is unheard of,  even if Hodor is dimwitted.

3- We learn Littlefinger and Lysa Arryn are the ones that killed John Arryn, which by the way is a huge reveal, because John Arryn's death is the whole reason Ned Stark was brought to King's Landing and started the entire chain of events that led to this chaos and most people assumed it was the Lannisters.

And despite three pretty major plot developments the consensus seems to be... "Meh, filler episode"  :D

I thought it was a slower episode, but I'm not hating on it too much...  The worst episode of GOT is still better than 99.9% of other shows out there...

I'm glad they put an end to the Craster's Keep nonsense and hopefully will be putting Bran on his way...

What happened to Summer?

What in the heck are they going to do with Dany's story? IIRC from the books, they are going to have to kill a lot of time with her... I mean, without being too spoilery, there is a lot that I thought happened with her story at this point in the books that hasn't happened... Someone gets outcast, a rather well known character shows up from Westeros as a new recruit in a sellsword group, another someone not-even-introduced-yet makes their way to her doorstep... I guess she's just going to hold down the fort and try to rule the continent while learning Mereen's intricacies? I can't remember book stuff all that well at this point in her storyline.

I actually thought this episode was better than the last two.  We learned a lot (especially those people who haven't read the books) and set things in motion.  I was praying that they wouldn't allow Jon and Bran to reunite.  I liked the way they went about making that not happen.  Explains why the producers sent Locke up to the Wall.

if jon and bran had met up and hung out i would have poo in two fuging boxes and mailed one to George RR Martin and the other to HBO

with "bran's storyline in season 4" written on the box

i wanted to see the two direwolves play tug with rast too. worst episode in the show's entire run.

I seriously wonder if you find joy in anything. Every single one of your posts in this subforum is just bashing poo for no reason.

It wouldn't surprise me if you were like "my mom? Eh that bitch was just filler until the real girl who will take care of me for the rest of my life. Just a poo mom really."

Yea, last night's episode was anything but a letdown.

The Arryn reveal was huuugeee.

It makes you wonder if the show plans to deviate a bit with Lysa/Littlefinger's storyline before she 'flies'

I thought this episode was good. I'm so glad that they FINALLY had an Oberyn scene where he wasn't banging something and also mentioned his daughters. I also loved his line "I can't say that name without getting sad, and after I get sad... I get angry."

You probably remember the books better than I do, but I thought the opposite. I thought her decision to stay in Slaver's Bay came at the end of ASOS, and much of what you are referring to happens in ADWD. I was thinking after last night her story would be matriculating into books 4&5 for the rest of the season.

Maybe I am wrong though
