WAIT ... WHAT?

http://bit.ly/1Ie0OUZ

Other articles, released tonight, say the same thing.

So ... uh ... WHAT!? He IS dead?

... the hell?

Doubt...  After what happened in Episode 8?  The producer have to be an absolute moron.  He will lose a lot of ratings.  It's like killing Walter White in the middle of Breaking Bad and letting Jesse run the show going forward.

In Dexter they tho it would be good idea to kill his wife in Season 5 and whole show went to poo afterwords due to people disapproval.

Really disappointed that Jon died... Even if he is brought back, thre way he died was just ughhh

Also I don't see the obsession to make Ramsay great. Still don't understand how he got in and out of Stannis camp so easily with 20 men...

I guess he could be trolling, but that's just fantasy for people that don't want to think this is true. YES, it makes ZERO sense for him to be killed off ... but damn, he said they sat him down and said it's over.

If true, the show will lose a lot of revenue.  These producers are all about money.  In book, Jon Snow becomes Jon Tagaryan.  if Snow is dead... Then this is no longer Game of Thrones... It means they went completely off track to regions unknown.

I seriously doubt Jon Snow won't be back.  Stannis dying convinces me even more.  In the books Stannis didn't die yet, and he was Azor Ahai according to Melisandra.  Since he's dead, it's got to be Jon.

Jon Snow may be dead, but Melisandre will bring him back.  And since he's already died, that relieves him of his duties to the night's watch...as if Thorne and company didn't already.  You know how Jon is, he couldn't just leave the night's watch because he would see that as dishonorable.  Now he can go off with his wildling army retake Winterfell and fight the White Walkers...because you just KNOW they're getting over or through that wall.

So they've basically brought everything "up to date" with the last book except for the fact that we've seen the Night's King, Stannis burned his daughter and is killed and Myrcella is dead, correct?

Damned good episode, pretty much played out exactly how I thought it would despite what we were hearing via spoilers.

After reading the books I didn't think that Jon was dead dead...  idk how he'll come back but for sure he will.  Lots of talk about Lady Stoneheart being a plot device to keep Jon's resurrection from being a dues-ex-machina since she really hasn't had any other role to speak of.  Obviously that's all just speculation as no one really knows where it's going from here out.

I guess the thing that's weird about all this book/show ordeal is why didn't GRRM make a bigger push a year or three ago to get this next book done... he knew this was coming?

Now even if he gets WoW done prior to season 6, there's no way in hell he'll get ADoS done before season 7 is out, even if they split 7 into two parts, so does it really matter?  90% chance anyone who watches the show will know how the story ends prior to the last book being released anyway...
