76 overall. 85 speed. swagger will be up there in the high 90's.

he will have low accuracy and very low awareness rating around 60.

the first pick in the draft will not be 76 overall lol. again clausen was 74 picked in the second. you mean to tell me hes going to only be 2 points better? again his speed and throwing power will likely skew his overall to around 78-80

There is no way if newton is drafted No. 1 overall his rating is gonna be lower than 84, Bradford's rating was 85 in this years madden. And they have roster updates throughout the season and the only way Newtons overall will hit 78 overall in Madden 12 is if he absolutely bombs throughout the season, clausen started out at 76 ovr and after the final update was 73 ovr. If your goin off the first roster of the season in franchise mode Newton will be A pot and reach 95 ovr in the 3rd season. His speed is probly gonna be around 83-84 as well with high accelleration and high swagger, bout 94 tp and 76 accuraccy.

Overall he'll probably be around 78 give or take a point or two. What's important is that he'll be an A potential so his accuracy will go up pretty fast. The stats you cant really improve (speed, throw power and size) should be fantastic. Im not a fan of drafting Newton but he's going to be a tremendous weapon in Madden by year 3 or 4.

Bradford started off at 80 overall.

suh was taken 2nd and was an overall 85 whereas bradford was an 80 and he was taken first.

in the first 10 or so picks they go by overall big board ranking to rate the players, not by where they are drafted.

Well Newton is ranked #16 on the big board. So he will probably have a 70-75 rating, and Clausen will get bumped down to about a 65.

    • I'm not sure that in a fair QB competition that Young would beat out Jones.
    • That's why I said stats aside. I lived in CO during Allen's college career and didn't have kids at the time so I watched most of his games. Bruh, I'm telling you. Balls just spraying all over the place. The type of throws where you're honestly trying to figure out who he was even trying to throw that one too. It was crazy. Richardson was inaccurate in college but at least you could tell who he was trying to throw it too. He threw a lot of early in the game Cam Newton type balls where it seemed like he was just a little too amped up and everything was a few feet high. Richardson's misses looked like they were maybe fixable with working on his footwork, release, etc. Josh Allen's misses looked like "ain't no way you're fixin' that poo, dude has a cannon equipped with no sights". LOL Huge props to the Bills for evaluating him as fixable and indeed fixing him.
    • A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently). Obviously there could be trades/ waiver claims/ FA signings.   Offense (25) QB (2): Bryce Young, Andy Dalton RB (3): Chuba Hubbard, Rico Dowdle, Trevor Etienne TE (4): Tommy Tremble, JT Sanders, Mitchell Evans, James Mitchell WR (7): Tetoria McMillan, Xavier Legette, Adam Theilen, Jalen Coker, Hunter Renfrow, Jimmy Horn, Brycen Tremayne  OL (9): Ikem Ekwonu, Damien Lewis, Austin Corbett, Robert Hunt, Taylor Moton, Cade Mays, Chandler Zavala, Brady Christensen, Yosh Nijman    Defense (25) DL (6): Derrick Brown, Bobby Brown, Ashawn Robinson, Tershawn Wharton, Sam Roberts, Cam Jackson OLB (5): DJ Wonnum, Pat Jones, Nic Scourton, Princely Umanmielen, Thomas Incoom  ILB (5): Trevin Wallace, Christian Rozeboom, Krys Barnes, Jon Rattigen, Claudin Cherelus S (4): Trevon Moehrig, Demani Richardson, Lathan Ransom, Nick Scott  CB (5): Jaycee Horn, Mike Jackson, Chau Smith-Wade, Corey Thornton, Shemar Bartholomew    ST (3): LS: JJ Jansen  P: Sam Martin  K: Matthew Wright    Would like to hear everyone's thoughts
