If Dareus is drafted #1 , I will be dissapointed merely for the fact that would mean Hurney, Rivera and Co. didnt think Cam will be a franchise QB and then we will be putting our hopes in either Clausen, Pike or Moore (if he signs here) and most likely we will end up suffering through anothers season in the cellar with nothing but hope for next seasons draft :banghead:

I would be happy to see Dareus with us causing forced

fumbles and turnovers and busting up QB's like Brees and Ryan.

I wouldn't even mind A.J.Green running smooth precise routes

outjumping (40"vertical) DB's in the red zone and pulling in passes

with those soft hands. Give Claussen some weapons and you will

see a big improvement. Claussen needs more pieces and another shot.

Or, you could be happy because that would mean they didn't reach for a QB and instead decided to go with someone who could have an immediate impact... I'll be happy with whoever we draft.

The bold part is why I wont be happy. I will be glad they got a top level DT but overall I think the Panthers will pick Cam only if they DO feel he will be a franchise guy. If they pick him its not a reach, in my opinion, because I dont think Hurney will go that direction unless they believe he will be.
