I am pulling for Clausen. Best case scenario he developes and the Panthers have him and Cam as our QB's. Would be nice to not have another lost season because the starter got hurt. Also, when they both develop - Clausen can then be traded for value.

I'm not saying Clausen will ever be any good, but people need to realize that a lot of QBs struggle their rookie season and go on to have great careers. It isn't the norm that you get a guy like Matt Ryan who comes in and just "gets it". BUT I think people expect that and they don't have the patience for a project. I just hope we understand that by drafting rookie Qbs like this, we take that gamble and need to accept the consequences and patience it takes in developing them.

I wish him the best. I hope he comes out beast and allows Cam to sit for a year or two. The fact is if Jimmy every wants to be a starter he needs to show it this year for other team. If he does teams will be beating down our door with trade offers.
