Mcshay "Drafting him (Cam) was a gamble, and thats why this franchise is where it is"

Awesomeness!!

I wouldn't call using a 2nd round pick on a falling QB taking a gamble on a franchise guy.

We'll just agree to disagree then. No issues.

He was "supposedly" the most NFL ready QB in the draft coming from a pro style offense... But I see your arguemrnt as well.

I can't stand McShay or Kiper, thank God I have NFLN.

Other than Armanti and Everette Brown, we've done some of the most conservative drafting in the past 10 years of any team in the NFL.

McShay must be terrified at the prospect of Cam proving him wrong...

(scratches head) (very confused)

Ummmm... Didn't we draft Clausen last year???

Wow... Some people just won't ever get it!

It may be time to test each member on the huddle on basic football knowledge, as well as Panthers knowledge.

With those results, we should then be categorized, so that the slower people cant talk to the faster people.

Way to say a lot without saying anything at all.

Yea, glad I have Game Pass and was able to watch NFLN online. Mayock has been great these past two days and the accuracy that he predicts the picks is uncanny. I don't care for Brian Billick and I dislike Charles Davis a lot, but Mayock and Eisen more than make up for them. The others have started calling Mayock 'Nostradamus'.

Sometimes you have to gamble to win. I'm not a Cam supporter and I don't like the pick, but I will admit that Cam has tons of potential.

The athletic skills are there, the desire to win is there, the leadership potential is there. I just have doubts have his work ethic and his focus. I would feel most comfortable with bringing in a vet and letting Cam sit. Starting him will almost guarantee a losing season and, like Clausen who was started by Fox in desperation, only frustrate Cam which may cause him to lose his focus.

Cam knows how to win. But does he know how to lose?

work ethic and focus? bruh, thats like the only thing people say are good about him hzU02.gif

Mayock's not real high on Cam, but he'll be the first to admit it if he's wrong about him.

He questioned Cam's desire to be great (which I think is silly) but he also said he's totally on-board if you think Cam wants to be great.
