yeah I don't get it....pretty sure he was on ESPN on the phone talking Carolina this week. They also still have his picture up at the Observer.....but I guess they could be slow being a newspaper and all. The ESPN appearance made me wonder though...

TCU was refuting the report when they were saying it was testicular cancer, but it turns out Cannon has non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

the way the observer tells it he wasn't fired he was just recalled back to his old paper because they lost a writer..so who knows..

Darin told via twitter that he's doing the twitter updates as a "hobby". He won't be writing Panther articles for the Herald/Observer any more but I suspect he will popup in other media as time goes by. ( he's done a couple of broadcasts in place of Bill Rodsinski on The Bottom Line @ Fox 730).

He has his critics but I find him more likeable than Joe Person.
